Wedding at Quinta Torre Bella
Whenever people ask me what style Quinta Torre Bella is, my answer is simple: it depends on you.
The truth is that this space can be two things at once. It can be the setting for a huge party with visual impact, or it can be the perfect place for a super elegant and intimate dinner.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are two real examples of weddings I photographed there. See how the same venue was transformed for Sofia and Eduardo, and then for a wedding focused on details.
Sofia, Eduardo, and the grandeur of the party
Sofia and Eduardo wanted their day to have an impact. For them, Torre Bella wasn’t just a beautiful place to eat, it was a setting to explore to the fullest.
We started by taking advantage of the more classic side of the farm. The pink building you see in the photos immediately gives the images a stately and timeless feel, which contrasts nicely with the modern glass section.

But the highlight was really the scale of the party. They didn’t want to be confined to the hall. We took advantage of the outdoor area by the river to cut the cake, and the result was incredible. The fireworks lighting up the Douro created that “wow” effect that everyone is looking for.
As you can see in this short drone video, the party takes on a whole new dimension when viewed from above.
And when it’s time for the bride and groom’s first dance, my priority is to be as discreet as possible, positioning myself strategically in the middle of the action to ensure photos with great visual impact. It is this subtle proximity, combined with the lighting and atmosphere, that gives us those images with an epic and genuine energy.

When the focus is on details and people
In this second wedding, the approach was different. Here, the priority was not the size of the outdoor party, but rather the elegance and comfort of the interior.
The glass-enclosed hall at Torre Bella has fantastic natural light. This allowed me to photograph the table decorations and all the details with a clarity that looks like something out of a decorating magazine. If you like everything to look impeccable, this hall is a big help.

And most importantly, we don’t always need fireworks to take memorable photos. Sometimes the best moments happen inside, amid laughter. Like this photo of the bride playing with her veil and her friends. It’s spontaneous, it’s fun, and it shows that the beauty of marriage lies in the connection between people.

What is your vision?
Basically, the venue is the same, but your story is what matters.
If your idea is to have an epic party with drones and smoke, I’m in. If you prefer something more focused on dinner, details, and good conversation, I also know exactly how to capture that elegance.
The important thing is to have a photographer who understands what you value and knows how to adapt.
If you like this versatility, send me a message. I would like to know what you are planning.
